Math tutoring & SAT prep

You're not bad at math.

I'm Reese, a high school junior who tutors math and SAT prep. I've been where you are — staring at a textbook at midnight wondering what went wrong. I got through it, and I can help you do the same.

About me

I'm Reese Kicklighter.

I'm a junior dual-enrolled at a College Academy — taking college classes while still in high school. I was fortunate enough to score a 1470 on the SAT, and I've managed to keep straight A's so far.

But honestly, that's not really the point. What I think helps most is that I still remember what it feels like to not get it. Staring at a problem set at 11pm thinking “I have no idea what's going on.” A lot of tutors have been at this so long they've forgotten that feeling.

I try to figure out where you actually got lost — sometimes it's something from a year or two ago — and we work through it together. That's usually when things start clicking.

Why it works

Tutoring that actually feels like help.

01

We find the actual gap

A lot of the time, the issue isn't the new material — it's something from a year or two ago that no one caught. We'll find it together, fill it in, and the rest starts making way more sense.

02

I explain things your way

Visual learner? Need to talk it out? Everyone's different. I figure out how you learn best and adjust — not the other way around.

03

I get the schedule thing

I'm balancing AP classes, college apps, and everything else too. I know how packed your week is. We'll find times that actually work for you.

Real reviews

Don't take my word for it.

Not only has Reese's tutoring helped my daughter improve her grade, but her affordable prices and flexible scheduling makes her service extremely convenient.

I am a visual learner, and she is great at accommodating to my learning style. After each session I understand the topics much more than I did before.

SAT Prep

Studying for the SAT is hard. What's worse? Finding a tutor who actually knows what's on the test.

I scored a 1470. I know what's on every section, what the College Board is really testing, and the shortcuts that actually work. No generic worksheets — just real strategy from someone who took the test recently enough to remember it.

  • The practice test before we start is about 2.5 hours — it's a real full-length SAT
